An eighty-four year old lady, described by the care center staff as someone who “really likes to talk” was glad to relate stories for Share Your Christmas. She said one of her favorite memories from childhood was “walking her OLDER sister to the outhouse at night because she was afraid of the dark”. When asked about her family she replied, “Lord, raising all those kids, makes me tired just talking about it!” Today quieter activities, like reading and socializing with the other residents, fill her days. For Christmas she would like black slacks, shirt, sweater, and pajamas. Her special treats are fun size candy bars, a watch, and body spray.
